Take your acting to the next level with this intensive 4-hour workshop. Led by experienced actor and coach, Adetinpo Thomas, this class delves into advanced script analysis and character development techniques to help you create rich, nuanced performances.
Through a mix of group discussions, solo work, and partner collaboration, you'll explore techniques for crafting complex backstories and emotional depth. The workshop will begin with actors performing a short scene (2-3 min), followed by a targeted discussion on advanced script analysis and character development principles. You'll then be given time to apply these techniques to your scene.
Adetinpo will offer personalized guidance, constructive critique, and industry insights to help you elevate your performance. Before the end of the workshop, you'll perform your scene again, giving you the opportunity to immediately apply what you discovered in session.
Please bring and have memorized a short scene (2-3 minutes) to work on during the class. Comfortable clothing you can move in, closed-toed shoes, and pen and paper recommended.
