The Atlanta Film Society is pleased to announce the anniversary screening of WAITING FOR B., directed by PAULO CESAR TOLEDO + ABIGAIL SPINDEL for our ¡CINEMÁS! SUNDAYS series in honor of hispanic heritage month. WAITING FOR B. explores the outer reaches of fandom, following a group of young Beyoncé super-fans who, lacking the money to buy their way to the front, camped out for two months to be closer to the international star. This observational documentary is a story about the victims of hype, a community built on hope, and the contradictions of humility and vanity at the heart of diva worship.
Upgrade your experience with a Brazil Combo from BRASILIANA which includes 1 Brasiliana slice, with a choice of Coxinha and Yuca fries as a side!

The mission of ¡CineMás! is to create support and visibility for Latin artistry as the growing need for Latin representation goes unmet in media and entertainment. This program highlights stories & perspectives from Latin America to create better cultural understanding and opportunities for Latin filmmakers and film lovers alike.
Inspired by the Latin American Film Festival that held a 25 year run at the High Museum of Art, by the late Linda Dubler, the Atlanta Film Society's former Executive Director. Our program aims to patch the gap made by its absence from the Atlanta art scene by continuing its legacy of presenting award-winning Latin American cinema to the local community.
