JULIA PRESCOTT

Julia Prescott is an Annie-nominated writer/director/producer whose work has criss-crossed between TV, film, and theatre for well over a decade. She’s the recipient of the Hollywood Foreign Press Scholarship in Filmmaking, named a “Voice to Watch” by Elizabeth Banks’s WhoHaHa, a Fellow for Soho House and an alumnus of the inaugural cohort of Rideback RISE founded by Dan Lin (Chairman of Netflix Films). Julia has taught screenwriting at both Chapman University and the NY Film Academy. She is a sought-after lecturer at institutions like SVA and NYU. Julia's episode of The Simpsons Treehouse of Horror XXXI, was named one of the show’s “Top 30 Episodes” of all time by Variety. In 2025, she founded THE STUDIO VISIT, a nonprofit connecting public schools with entertainment professionals for classroom visits, assemblies and more. In 2026, Julia was named a Fellow in the WIF Fellowship Writing track.
