Imani L. Warren, M.A.
Imani L. Warren, M.A., is an award-winning cultural producer, filmmaker, curator, and arts communicator with over a decade of experience in storytelling, strategic communications, and heritage preservation. She is the co-host of SOUL, a weekly arts and culture show on MIA (Miami Florida) Media Group, where she delivers in-depth reports on film, art, and cultural events across local, national, and international communities.
Imani is the producer of The Creole Pig – Haiti’s Great Loss, a nationally distributed PBS documentary that explores the cultural consequences of U.S. agricultural intervention in Haiti. Her Florida Humanities award-winning project, Black Beauty as an Act of Resistance, archives and honors the legacy of Black women’s cosmetology education and its role in economic empowerment.
Imani has led cultural programming for the Historic Hampton House—where she partnered with Amazon Studios to premiere One Night in Miami. She has taught diaspora arts at Florida International University and previously completed editorial internships with CNN’s Documentary Unit and Atlanta Black Star. Imani's work champions creative expression, Black history, and women in the arts.
