The budget isn't coming. Let's make it happen anyway. Lean & Mean: The Art of Low-Budget Short Film Producing is a hands-on full-day workshop for filmmakers ready to stop guessing and start producing.

We’ll build a real budget from a real script, talk about where money actually goes, why insurance isn’t optional, how to stretch every dollar (and every favor), and how to allocate limited funds without sabotaging your film.

You’ll leave with practical templates, a producing checklist, and a clear plan — ready to execute.

Spots are limited. Come ready to work.

Students should come prepared with a laptop and/or other note-taking device. If you have a short film script, you can bring it to the workshop in order to address specific questions, time-permitting.
