Each year numerous I.P. lawsuits are filed, with some carrying settlements as high as $150,000 or more!
With so much legal liability at stake, a series of questions arise: how do I file for copyright protection, what protections does copyright law give me, when do I own the work and when is it work for hire, and what happens if I or someone else infringes upon protected work?
