THE ATLANTA FILM SOCIETY AWARDED $6,250 BY THE GEORGIA COUNCIL FOR THE ARTS

ATLANTA, GA (July 13th, 2026)—The Atlanta Film Society (ATLFS) is pleased and grateful to announce that we have been awarded $6,250 by the Georgia Council for the Arts (GCA). The 50th Atlanta Film Festival was supported in part by the Georgia Council for the Arts through the appropriations of the Georgia General Assembly. Georgia Council for the Arts also receives support from its partner agency – the National Endowment for the Arts. Join us as we, with the most heartfelt gratitude, thank the GCA for championing not only the Atlanta Film Society but also all the independent filmmakers and the stories we celebrate.
