Before “Black Panther,” before “Do the Right Thing,” there was “The Spook Who Sat by the Door.” The 1973 film, directed by Ivan Dixon from a screenplay and novel by Sam Greenlee, imagined a Black CIA operative turned guerrilla revolutionary.
