Call for New Airport Shorts Proposals Open Until 11/1

The Atlanta Film Society remains proud to present the Airport SHORTS program in the new Maynard H. Jackson Jr. International Terminal at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport as part of the Airport Art Program, which develops and integrates art, exhibits and performances into the fabric of the Airport environment for the benefit of passengers and employees.

Unveiled in spring of 2012, the program showcases two hours of short films from all over the world on nearly 30 screens throughout the terminal to 14 million travelers annually. Twelve new films from fourteen local filmmakers debuted during the 40th annual Atlanta Film Festival in April 2016.

The Atlanta Film Festival Programming Team has officially opened the call for proposals for a silent, visually arresting cinematic piece made exclusively for the 1080x1920 vertical screens on display throughout the International Terminal. This call is open to any filmmaker in the state of Georgia.
