LOCALS ONLY is a recurring screening of short films from Georgia’s independent filmmakers with each event having a distinct theme and focus. Featured short films come entirely from submissions, and prizes are given to winners of both the Jury and Audience Awards

The theme of Summer 2023's LOCALS ONLY event is WIDESCREENS & LANDSCAPES, featuring locally-produced work that captures the great outdoors. Join us for this evening's film screening, enjoy some fresh local films, and cheer for the winners!

All selected films will screen at the event and receive laurels. Additionally, selected filmmakers will receive a waiver to submit to the next Atlanta Film Festival.

Jury and Audience prizes will be awarded and each come with a $100 cash prize. Winning films will also receive winner laurels, 2 All-Access badges each to the next Atlanta Film Festival ($800+ value) and 2 Plaza Theatre ticket/popcorn/drink combos ($54 value).
