Atlanta Jewish Film Festival to Honor Lawrence Kasdan with Icon Award

AJFF's first-ever Icon Award will honor "The Empire Strikes Back" and "The Force Awakens" screenwriter Lawrence Kasdan. With four Oscar nominations, Kasdan counts among Hollywood's most accomplished filmmakers, having also directed such acclaimed dramas as "The Big Chill," "The Accidental Tourist," and "Body Heat."

AJFF and co-presenter ArtsATL are proud to welcome Mr. Kasdan to Atlanta, as he reflects on his career and life experiences in an intimate conversation that will also feature film clips, behind-the-scenes images, and tributes from key collaborators such as JJ Abrams, Glenn Close, Steve Martin, Geena Davis and more.
